ontos verlag is an independent German publishing house devoted to Mathematics and to furthering a scientific style of philosophy in the tradition of Aristotle, the scholastics and recent analytical philosophy. The main fields of interest are mathematical and philosophical logic, ontology and metaphysics, epistemology and philosophy of science, history of philosophy – coupled with systematic enquiries, Austrian philosophy and phenomenology, Process Philosophy, as well as practical philosophy such as action theory and meta-ethics. Our book series now number fourteen, all edited by excellent and renowned scholars in their respective areas of research. In addition, our program includes books published independently of the individual series. The languages of publication are German and English.
